Be a part of something groundbreaking! AIG is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Data Privacy professional to support the organization’s commitment to protecting personal information. What you will do Provide advice and guidance to business units and corporate functions on Privacy program risks. Maintain current knowledge of U.S. privacy laws and regulations, and implement appropriate changes to policies, standards, and compliance programs. Participate as a key resource in AIG’s Privacy Governance structure, including responsibilities related to individual data subject rights, regulatory notifications, records of data processing activities, privacy notice review, and Privacy Impact Assessments. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, procedures, assessment processes, response plans, and related team contact information. Interact with Legal and Compliance stakeholders and other liaisons. Develop and review privacy training program content. Develop and implement ongoing monitoring of Privacy risk programs. Coordinate approvals for eDiscovery and other forensic investigations. Review and complete the Global Compliance Risk Control Self‑Assessment process for Americas Privacy. Assist Global Privacy Team members in managing, operating, and maintaining regional Privacy Team networks and Privacy Risk Incident (PRI) response plans in the Americas. Assessed, supervised, and fulfilled legal and compliance actions prior to new technology, cloud, and mobile app implementations. Qualifications Previous privacy experience required, such as experience as a privacy professional, risk officer, or compliance officer in a corporate environment. Demonstrable experience designing and implementing new privacy processes and procedures. Ability to record and disseminate complex information in succinct, meaningful summaries. Strong analytical skills with an inquisitive mind to explore data and identify critical issues and trends. Competency with Microsoft Office 365 products (Excel, PowerPoint, and other data repository and presentation tools). Interest in new technology, devices, apps, Internet of Things, data science, Artificial Intelligence, and other data uses. Excellent relationship management skills, empathy, and influencing skills demonstrated at all levels of the organization. Team player who supports teammates to attain group objectives. Confident, engaging, authoritative, and pragmatic approach. Excellent communication skills, dynamic speaker and presenter, with ability to adapt style and approach to the situation. Proven organizational, prioritization, and forward‑planning skills. Excellent attention to detail. Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and consistently focused on business goals. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. At least five years of privacy experience. IAPP certifications preferred (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM). Previous experience working with diverse teams across the Americas is a plus. Compensation For positions based in NewYork, the base salary range is $81,000‑$90,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the applicable incentive plan.
