As part of this organizational expansion, we are also preparing to welcome our first-ever Zeta High School class of 9th graders in the 2026-27 school year, a milestone that marks the next chapter in our mission to provide a world-class, PreK-12 pathway. In this role, you will teach at one or more of our Bronx and Upper Manhattan campuses, including Tremont Park, Mount Eden, South Bronx, Inwood, and our new high school campus. Lessons take place during the school day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and may be scheduled across multiple campuses.

At Zeta, we pursue an unprecedented combination of high academic achievement and social-emotional development for our students. Excellent music education is core to our mission. In addition to music classes, we are proud to provide our students with lessons in violin, viola, cello, and piano.

To achieve our vision, we are searching for a Part-time Piano Teacher with a Bachelor's Degree, and at least 2-4+ years of relevant teaching experience. If you are passionate about music, love working with motivated students, and are interested in improving educational equity in New York City, come and teach piano with us!

Responsibilities:

• Teach weekly piano lessons to students across Zeta's network of schools
• Provide instruction through individual and small-group lessons during the school day
• Prepare students for recitals and other performance opportunities
• Communicate regularly with families to support student progress and at-home practice
• Use established method books and supplement with additional repertoire and musicianship activities as appropriate

We are hiring for a July 2026 start date. The hourly rate for this position is $65 per hour.
