The Joint, Office of the Secretary of War, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of War, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. The Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group within JOID specializes in the application of multi-disciplinary analytic skills to support multiple clients within the Department of War (DoW). These clients include the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)), Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSW(A&S)), DARPA, the Joint Staff, and USINDOPACOM. SPA provides critical decision support to enabling and executing a strategy of technological superiority and enabling the delivery and sustainment of secure, resilient, and preeminent capabilities to the warfighter quickly and cost effectively. Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts is skilled in evaluating military problems, identifying the driving factors, devising innovative approaches, collecting applicable data, developing necessary software tools, and performing thorough and timely assessments to inform technology and acquisition governance decisions to ensure U.S. military forces retain military superiority in the future. We have a future need for a Senior Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Policy Analyst to support the NC3 Directorate within the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (DASW(SSIPM)). This role is located onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities The NC3 Policy Analyst will support government leadership within the NC3 Directorate on a number of tasks related to the ongoing modernization and sustainment of the portfolio. Primary focus areas are acquisition policy, governance, and resourcing of the NC3 portfolio. The candidate will assist the government in executing portfolio management of the NC3 modernization efforts, including conducting Integrated Acquisition Portfolio Review (IAPRs) and Service Program Review. Qualifications Required: * Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, including nuclear domain systems, program management, policy, or processes * 5+ years of experience in an acquisition program office, Program Executive Office, or DoW acquisition office * Experience researching, interpreting, and applying Defense Acquisition System and Adaptive Acquisition Framework DoW 5000 series policies, principles, techniques, methods, and practices * Strong analytical, research, and strategic communication skills, and adept at preparing and delivering briefs and correspondence to executive leadership in various formats * Active TS/SCI clearance * Able to work both independently and in teams to meet mission objectives; able to track and coordinate multiple simultaneous efforts * Able to work fully onsite based on client needs Desired: * Experience supporting OSW or Joint Staff in NC3, NLCC, Satellite Communications, or other portfolios Responsibilities Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc.
