About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Stardust team, where you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling high-impact web applications that power critical user journeys and digital transactions.

This role is ideal for a senior engineer with a strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js or React) and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) who enjoys owning complex problems from architecture and implementation to quality, performance, and maintainability. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering peers, and will be expected to influence technical direction, raise engineering standards, and mentor other developers.

Responsibiities:

  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions
  • Build and maintain systems that support high-traffic user flows, digital transactions, and reliable checkout experiences.
  • Design and develop reusable component systems using Tailwind CSS and native CSS.
  • Implement comprehensive test coverage using Storybook and unit tests, and playwright.
  • Build dynamic and interactive front-end interfaces with React or Vue.js.
  • Manage and optimize database queries and structures using MongoDB.
  • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve complex issues related to performance, reliability, and security.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, technical documentation, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices, and proactively apply them where they add value.

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Extensive experience with React.js or Vue.js in production environments.
  • Solid backend development experience with Node.js and Express.js.
  • Proven experience working with MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Familiarity with PHP and maintaining or integrating with PHP-based systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Git, collaborative code reviews, and modern branching strategies.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously on complex initiatives.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating across engineering, product, and design.
  • Salary Range: $160,000-$180,000
