General Purpose The Pizza Cook is responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This includes preparing dough, managing toppings, operating a wood-fired or traditional pizza oven, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food that complements the elevated dining experience. Pizza Preparation & Cooking Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards. Ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection with consistent quality and presentation. Operate and maintain the wood-fired or traditional pizza oven, ensuring proper temperatures and techniques. Ingredient Preparation & Station Maintenance Prepare dough, sauces, and toppings, ensuring freshness and proper portioning. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift. Set up and break down the pizza station before and after service, ensuring readiness for the next shift. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow, particularly during high-volume periods. Communicate with servers and managers about special orders or guest feedback. Safety & Cleanliness Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of ingredients.
