Our expert team specializes in  Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) - Physiatry , focusing on restoring function and improving the quality of life for individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive physical and neurological examinations to evaluate patient function, mobility, and pain levels.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, non-surgical rehabilitation and pain management plans tailored to the patient's specific recovery goals.
  • Multidisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff to coordinate holistic care.
  • Procedures: Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, such as joint injections, trigger point injections, or electromyography (EMG) to evaluate nerve and muscle function).
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, injury prevention, and long-term condition management.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare and hospital standards.

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Physiatry.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
