Pet Care Associate aka Camp Counselor (working with dogs) (South Salt Lake)

Camp Bow Wow, Utah's Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp, at 500 West 3600 South in Salt Lake City, Utah is currently hiring FULL-TIME and PART-TIME. We have morning, afternoon, weekend and holiday shifts. Come join this wonderful growing franchise and join a great team of employees in a unique work environment. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour.

Description:

Camp Bow Wow South Salt Lake is a fast-paced working environment. No experience necessary. This is a great first-time job with on the job training. The common duties are all janitorial and housekeeping.

• Must be able to stand and walk prolong hours,
• Have the ability to lift 50 pounds,
• and work in confined spaces in a loud working environment.

This challenging but rewarding position comes with the ability to work directly with dogs. You will learn

• dog behavior,
• play yard management and
• variety of other skills.

Applicants:

• Should have a working knowledge of dog behaviors (no requirement),
• will be able to work flexible schedules including mandatory weekends and all holidays,
• will be receptive to doing cleaning and organizing, and
• will be a team player with good customer service skills,
