LOCATION :

This job is located in Fort Myers FL at an busy upscale hotel sports bar that is focused on genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

OVERVIEW Lead Line Cook 1 : We are looking for a strong Lead Line Cook to act as the kitchen leader in our high-volume sports bar and restaurant. This lively, casual venue features a diverse American menu, large-screen TVs, and a fun, energetic atmosphere serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night crowds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create daily specials
• Complete the prep list
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
• Undertake cooking duties on the Line: grill, fryer, sandwich stations
• Prepare dishes
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
• Dish wash and clean kitchen and equipment

SKILLS

• Proven multi station experience as prep/line cook
• Proven experience Banquet Chef
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• A team player with good communication skills
• Patients with an ability to stay positive under pressure
• Very good physical condition and endurance
• Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to carry 50lbs
