Supporting security assessments in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Junior Penetration Tester will plan and execute tests on various technologies, develop test plans, and perform vulnerability analyses to enhance security posture. Key responsibilities Conduct security testing on IT assets, web applications, and cloud implementations related to the Judiciary network Develop and maintain a repeatable methodology for security testing, including threat modeling and test scenario creation Perform vulnerability and risk analyses and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field preferred 3+ years of experience in the information technology field Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and experience with tools such as Burp Suite and Qualys Some penetration testing experience required Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
