Senior Designer (Home)

We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Senior Designer (Home) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role will focus primarily on the Home and Soft Goods category, with an emphasis on throws and totes, while also contributing to adjacent categories including coolers, camping chairs, pet beds, and dog toys.

The ideal candidate brings strong product design experience in textiles and soft goods, along with a sharp eye for trend, color, and material direction. This person will be responsible for translating concepts into market-relevant, brand-aligned, and cost-conscious products that meet customer expectations and business goals. Success in this role requires the ability to work across multiple categories, balance creativity with functionality, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.

This position will lead the product design process from initial concept through final execution. The Senior Designer (Home) will develop seasonal concepts, trend-right assortments, print and color stories, and material direction while ensuring designs are feasible for production. The role also requires strong communication and presentation skills to clearly express design intent to internal teams, global partners, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop products across home décor and soft goods categories, including throws, totes, blankets, pillows, coolers, camping chairs, pet beds, and dog toys.
• Lead trend research and forecasting to create seasonal concepts, color palettes, print direction, and material stories.
• Translate design ideas into commercially viable products that align with customer needs and brand direction.
• Manage the full product design lifecycle from concept development through final approval and production handoff.
• Create detailed tech packs and specifications to support development and manufacturing.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including sales, development, and sourcing to ensure products are both creative and cost-effective.
• Present design concepts and product strategies clearly and confidently to internal and external partners.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of design excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing soft home décor products and soft goods across multiple categories.
• Strong knowledge of textiles, materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and interpret trends, then translate them into compelling product concepts.
• Experience owning the product design workflow from ideation through completion, including technical documentation.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate design vision effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong sense of color, trend, and brand alignment.
• Experience working with large retail accounts or similar customer channels is a plus.
