JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under direct supervision, enter student and staff data into computer databases.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Enter alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source document using online computer terminal or personal computer.
2. Keys and verifies results according to procedures provided.
3. Recognizes and corrects errors in original data prior to processing.
4. Recognizes deficiencies in source documents and returns them to originator for correction.
5. Maintains campus student and staff database.
6. Clerical duties for office administrator
7. Maintains physical and computerized departmental records.
8. Maintains confidentiality
9. Regular attendance

EXPERIENCE:

• Data entry experience with eSchool Plus.
• Data entry experience with transcripts.
• Data entry experience with master schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
• Proficient typing, keyboarding, file maintenance and 10-key skills
• Ability to meet established deadlines
• Ability to use the district's Management Information System software
